Criminal Case Information

Publicly available information about a criminal case can be found on the Superior Court’s Criminal Case Access website if you have the case number.  If you do not have or cannot find the case number, you can contact the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office here.   You will need to provide the defendant’s name and possibly his or her birth date to get the correct case number.

Once you have a court case number, you can access the Superior Court’s Criminal Case Access website here.  Be sure to check the “reCAPTCHA” box.

Once you enter the case number you will be taken to a screen that looks like this and you can click on the “proceedings” tab to see court dates:

When you click on the proceedings tab, you will see both the Future Proceedings and Past Proceedings- for example:
