Latine Advisory Board
The purpose of the Latine Advisory Board to the Los Angeles County District Attorney is to provide input and recommendations on policies, procedures, collection and dissemination of data, trainings, and best practices related to the Latine community. In addition, we create community engagement opportunities and access to community-based resources. For more information about the board, click here.
Why Latine? Latine is a gender-neutral or non-binary alternative to Latino and Latina. This term originated from LGBTQIA+, gender non-binary, and feminist communities in Spanish-speaking countries. Latine replaces the “a” and “o” with the gender-neutral Spanish letter “e”. For more information, click here.
