July 18, 2025: Couple Charged in Shooting Death of 13-Year-Old Boy in Pasadena

PASADENA, CA – Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan J. Hochman announced that Muhammad Abdul-Malik, 38, and Teraeja Flemmings, 31, were charged today in the death of 13-year-old Iran Moreno, who was shot and killed while playing video games in his Pasadena home in November 2021.

LOS ANGELES — A Brentwood man has been charged with 28 criminal counts — including 23 felonies — for a string of alleged crimes that occurred between 2023 and May of this year, including impersonating a firefighter during the Palisades Fire, assaulting a first responder, and discharging a laser at aircrafts.

TORRANCE, CA — A 47-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder for driving up behind a woman parked in her car in a Rolling Hills shopping plaza on May 9, 2025, and shooting more than two dozen rounds at her vehicle, with 20 bullets hitting her car and six hitting a nearby occupied dance studio, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced.
