Notification about people in state prisons

To receive notification about parole hearings, the scheduled release or the escape of a person in state custody, crime victims, their family members and witnesses must register with the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation's Office of Victims and Survivor Rights and Services.

To register, victims and survivors must complete the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) Request for Victim Services Form 1707. You may apply online by visiting https://www.cdcr.ca.gov/victim-services/application/ or download (disponible en español), print and mail Form 1707 to CDCR at P.O. Box 942883, Sacramento, CA 94283-0001.

If you move or change your phone number, be sure to update your contact information so that you continue to receive notifications. Personal information about victims, including addresses and phone numbers, is confidential, and California law prohibits this information from being made available to the incarcerated person.

Notification about people in Los Angeles County custody (jails)
