Two men have been charged with killing a man outside of a house party in Burbank, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced.

Robert Allen Stout (dob 10/10/99) of Van Nuys and Jose Anthony Valdivieso (dob 8/21/99) of Northridge both face one count of murder.

Deputy District Attorney Christopher Stogel said the criminal complaint includes allegations that Stout personally used a firearm and caused great bodily injury and death.

Both defendants pleaded not guilty today and are scheduled to return on April 8 to Department 1 of the Los Angeles County Superior Court, Burbank Branch. Case GA105324 was filed on March 6.

Stout and Valdivieso were allegedly involved in a fight outside of the house on March 2, the prosecutor said. During the fight, victim Christian Guevara, 21, was shot to death with a handgun, the prosecutor added.

Bail is set at $3 million for Stout and more than $2 million for Valdivieso.

If convicted as charged, Stout faces a possible maximum sentence of 40 years to life in state prison and Valdivieso faces 16 years to life.

The case remains under investigation by the Burbank Police Department.
