April 22, 2015: Massage Therapist Charged With Sexually Assaulting Clients in Sherman Oaks

A massage therapist has been charged with sexually assaulting clients at a Sherman Oaks massage parlor, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced today.

Deputy District Attorney Karin Borzakian said Hong Quiang Shi (dob 1/26/70) of Alhambra faces one felony count of sexual penetration by foreign object and three felony counts of sexual battery by fraud in case LA080787.

Shi was scheduled to be arraigned today but the hearing was continued to May 14 in Department 100 of the Los Angeles County Superior Court, Van Nuys Branch.

The defendant is accused of sexually assaulting three women between March 18 and March 28 during their massage sessions at Super Relax Massage on Ventura Boulevard, the prosecutor said.

If convicted as charged, Shi faces a possible maximum sentence of 11 years in state prison.

The case remains under investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department, Van Nuys Division.
