A 31-year-old man was sentenced today to 26 years in state prison for sexually assaulting two women and a 13-year-old girl in 2016, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced.

Deputy District Attorney Safaan Ahmed said Salvador Martinez of Los Angeles pleaded no contest on May 13 to one count each of forcible rape, forcible oral copulation, forcible lewd act upon a child and assault with intent to commit rape.

The defendant also was ordered today to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.

On Aug. 15, 2016, Martinez sexually assaulted the mother of his children in Bell Gardens. Two months later, he broke into an apartment in Maywood and sexually assaulted a 13-year-old victim, the prosecutor said.

On Nov. 13, 2016, the defendant broke into another apartment in Maywood and sexually assaulted a 36-year-old woman, the prosecutor added. The defendant then fled the area and was found and arrested in Stratford a few days later.
