A 39-year-old Glendora man pleaded not guilty today to sexually assaulting a young girl and a woman over several years, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced.

On April 20, Fadi Haddad (dob 11/17/76) was charged with five felony counts in case KA112287: three counts of lewd act upon a child and two counts of forcible rape.

Deputy District Attorney Michael Matoba of the Victim Impact Program, who is assigned to the case, said Haddad allegedly sexually abused a young girl he had access to between 2009 and 2010, and again between 2013 and 2014.

In 2015, the girl revealed the sexual abuse to an adult, who then notified police, the prosecutor said. As authorities conducted an investigation into the sexual assaults, a second adult victim came forward and revealed she reportedly had been raped by Haddad on several occasions between 2014 and 2015, the prosecutor added.

Haddad is currently in custody on $5 million bail.

The defendant is scheduled to return to court on July 28 for a pre-preliminary hearing in Department N of the Los Angeles County Superior Court, Pomona Branch.

If convicted as charged, Haddad faces a maximum possible sentence of 75 years to life in state prison.

The case is being investigated by the Glendora Police Department.
