February 5, 2019: Chatsworth Man Charged With Killing Employee

The 49-year-old owner of a home aquarium business was charged today with killing a man that worked for him, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced.

Deputy District Attorney Cathy Lee said Brian Vincent Hunt (dob 8/19/69) of Chatsworth faces one count of murder with allegations of using a revolver in the killing.

Arraignment in case PA092253 is scheduled today in Department S of the Los Angeles County Superior Court, San Fernando Branch.

Hunt is charged with killing Ricardo Sanchez, 22, during an argument at the defendant’s home on Feb. 1, the prosecutor said.

If convicted as charged, the defendant faces a possible maximum sentence of life in state prison. Bail is scheduled at $3 million.

The case remains under investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department, Valley Bureau.
