Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón announced today that David Bloom, once known as the “Wall Street Whiz Kid,” has been charged with stealing close to a quarter of a million dollars in an investment scam.

Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón announced today that six people have been charged in connection with two different incidents of organized retail theft at a Warehouse Shoe Store (WSS) in the Highland Park neighborhood of Los Angeles.

Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón announced today that Gabriel Sean Esparza has been charged in the kidnapping, attempted rape and murder of 19-year-old Andrea Vasquez, and the attempted murder of her boyfriend in Whittier.

Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón announced today that an off-duty deputy from the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department’s Special Enforcement Bureau (SEB) has been charged with attempting to cover up a patrol vehicle crash of a fellow off-duty SEB deputy, who was allegedly driving under the influence and was separately charged with that crime earlier this year. Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón announced today that a man has been charged in connection with a series of violent robberies of street vendors at six locations in Los Angeles within a 2-hour period on August 16.

August 18, 2023: Two Men Charged in Connection to Multiple Robberies, Assaults in the San Gabriel Valley, Including Hacienda Heights

Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón announced today that Russell Hardy, Jr. and Cameron DeShawn Perry have been charged with robbing and assaulting multiple people, some who are elderly, in the cities of Industry, Hacienda Heights and Rowland Heights. One of the incidents in Hacienda Heights included a viral video of an elderly woman being attacked.

August 11, 2023: Man Accused of Sexually Assaulting, Drugging Multiple Women in Los Angeles, West Hollywood

Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón and Sheriff Robert Luna announced today that Andrey Thanh Nguyen aka “Cosmo” has been charged with sexually assaulting and drugging five women between the ages of 18 to 21 in 2021 and 2023 in Los Angelesand West Hollywood.

August 11, 2023: Former Los Angeles Police Officer Sentenced to Six Years State Prison for Rape

Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón announced today that former Los Angeles police officer William Rodriguez was sentenced to six years in prison after he was found guilty in June of forcibly raping a woman while he was off-duty in 2015.

August 8, 2023: Daystar Peterson aka Tory Lanez Sentenced to 10 Years in Prison for Shooting Megan Pete aka Megan Thee Stallion

Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón announced today that Daystar Peterson, the rap artist known as Tory Lanez, was sentenced to 10 years in state prison after he was convicted by a jury of the 2020 attack and shooting of musical artist Megan Pete also known as Megan Thee Stallion in the Hollywood Hills.
