December 1, 2016: Man Convicted of Domestic Violence Killing of Live-In Partner, Setting Bedroom on Fire

A Van Nuys man was sentenced today to 12 years and eight months in state prison for killing his 33-year-old live-in partner in their apartment and then setting the room on fire, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced.
