July 7, 2022: District Attorney Gascón Hosts Roundtable to Address Security Concerns at Entertainment Venues

Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón today hosted a roundtable of stakeholders from event venues to examine ways to improve safety for performers, fans, staff and others attending entertainment events.
“Los Angeles County is a beacon to the performing arts community and I want to ensure that those who attend or work these events remain safe,” District Attorney Gascón said. “Today’s meeting is the first step in developing a plan to improve safety at these venues.”
More than 20 representatives from some of the county’s most iconic venues, such as Dodger Stadium, the Rose Bowl, the Hollywood Bowl and LA Live, attended today’s meeting.
District Attorney Gascón listened to their concerns and created a collaborative framework by establishing working groups to explore creative solutions for their most pressing problems.
