April 3, 2024: District Attorney Gascón Announces Residential Burglary Charges Against Man in Long Beach
David Silver is charged with burglarizing six residences in Long Beach between August 2023 and March 2024
LONG BEACH, CA – Today, Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón announced charges against David Silver for allegedly burglarizing six residences in Long Beach between August 2023 and March 2024.
“For nearly a year, the Long Beach community has been shaken by these residential burglaries,” District Attorney Gascón said. “No one should have to endure the violation and fear that comes with having their home invaded. Our office is working to ensure justice is served for those who have been victimized.”
David Lee Silver (dob 5/18/75) is charged in case 24LBCF00449 with six counts of first-degree residential burglary. He is scheduled to be arraigned today in Dept. S01 at the Long Beach Courthouse.
Between August 1, 2023 and March 13, 2024, Silver is alleged to have burglarized six residences in Long Beach.
If convicted as charged, Silver will face a maximum sentence of life in prison.
The case is being investigated by the Long Beach Police Department.
