April 14, 2016: “Pretty Little Liars” Actor Charged with Pointing Gun at Neighbor

An actor with a recurring role on the television show “Pretty Little Liars” was charged today with pointing a gun at a neighbor during an alleged dispute, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced.

Brandon William Jones (dob 5/7/88) faces one felony count of assault with a firearm and one misdemeanor count each of exhibiting a deadly weapon and exhibiting a concealable firearm in public.

Arraignment in case PA086095 is scheduled today in Department S of the Los Angeles County Superior Court, San Fernando Branch.

On Oct. 30, 2015, Jones allegedly exhibited a hidden handgun during a dispute with a neighbor at his North Hills home, prosecutors said. The defendant also is charged with brandishing a knife and later pointing a handgun at a neighbor during a different neighborhood dispute on March 24, prosecutors added.

Jones faces more than five years in state prison if convicted as charged.

The case remains under investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department, Devonshire Station.
