Hochman announced today that members of his Bureau of Investigation executed a search warrant as part of an ongoing criminal investigation into allegations that Parter Medical Products, Inc., doing business as Parter Sterilization Services, failed to protect its employees from prolonged exposure to ethylene oxide, a known toxic chemical.

July 15, 2025: Man Charged with Attempted Murder of Woman Parked in Shopping Plaza in Torrance

TORRANCE, CA — A 47-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder for driving up behind a woman parked in her car in a Rolling Hills shopping plaza on May 9, 2025, and shooting more than two dozen rounds at her vehicle, with 20 bullets hitting her car and six hitting a nearby occupied dance studio, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced.

The lawsuit alleged that the company engaged in unlawful business practices by taking more than a month to ship online orders and failing to provide adequate delay notices to consumers or offer refunds for late orders as required by California law, Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan J.
