A 21-year-old motorist has pleaded no contest to being under the influence when he crashed into parked cars, causing his vehicle to flip over in Winnetka last November, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced today.

Deputy District Attorney Leila Tahmassebi said Trujillo Carrasco was immediately sentence to 12 years in state prison.

The incident happened on Nov. 17, 2019, near the corner of Parthenia Street and Sunny Brae Avenue. The defendant’s passengers, Cesar Perez, 19, and Louis Perez, 16, both died in the crash, the prosecutor said.
