December 15, 2022: LAPD Officer Charged With Illegally Sharing Intimate Photos Without Victim’s Consent

Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón announced today that a Los Angeles police officer has been criminally charged in connection with the sharing of intimate photos of a person without consent.
“The conduct alleged in this case can cause lasting emotional distress. No one should be subjected to these cruel and invasive actions. As a law enforcement officer who encounters victims each day, he should know the trauma that is caused when someone’s privacy is violated,” District Attorney Gascón said.
Brady Lamas (dob 11/4/77) is charged with six misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct by distributing multiple private intimate images without consent.
Between December 2021 and January 2022, Lamas is accused of sending intimate photos to others, including fellow officers. The complaint alleges he should have known that distributing the image would cause the other person emotional distress.
Lamas is scheduled to be arraigned on Dec. 20 in case 2SC01815 at the Los Angeles County Superior Court, Santa Clarita Area Office.
The case remains under investigation by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
