Hate crimes have continued to increase in a troubling tred across the United States, and L.A. is no exception to this disturbing reality. Although LADA continues filing charges at higher rates than the statewide average (89% of cases presented to the office, compared to a statewide filing average of 43%)—what more can we do to prevent these harms before they even occur?
