AAPI Anti-Hate Crimes Awareness Virtual Town Hall

In recognition of Asian American Native Hawaiian Pacific Islander Heritage Month, join Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office in an AAPI Anti-Hate Crimes Awareness Virtual Town Hall on Thursday, May 23, 2024, 12 pm, on Zoom, as our expert panelists discuss lessons learned in combating the rise in hate and bias in the U.S.  

Guest speakers include Debra Wong Yang, Partner at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP, and Co-Chair at Alliance for Asian American Justice; Brian Sun, Partner at Norton Rose Fulbright, and Board Member at Alliance for Asian American Justice; and Jerry Kang, Professor at UCLA Law School. The webinar will include a welcome message by District Attorney George Gascón and will be moderated by Deputy District Attorney Paul Kim.
