Two Charged with Fatally
Shooting Burbank Woman

BURBANK Two men were charged today with fatally shooting a Burbank woman after she opened her door shortly after midnight Wednesday.

Armen Mangasaryan, 29 (dob 12-28-79), and Arpiar Terrgalstanyan, 20 (dob 2-10-89), are scheduled to be arraigned after 1:30 p.m. at Burbank Superior Court, Dept. 1. They are charged in case No. GA076057 with one count each of murder. Mangasaryan is charged with the special allegations of personal discharge of a handgun. In addition, Terrgalstanyan is charged with one felony count of possession of a silencer and two felony counts of possession of an assault weapon, including a semiautomatic rifle.

The victim, Jasmine Voskanian, answered either a knock at the door or the doorbell after midnight Wednesday and was shot once. Officials said she died at the scene. Police said they found the victim lying in the doorway of her home in the 4200 block of West Jacaranda Avenue.

Mangasaryan is being held on $2 million bail. Terrgalstanyan is being held on $1.1 million bail. If convicted, Mangasaryan faces 25 years to life in prison. Terrgalstanyan faces 29 years to life in prison.
