LOS ANGELES – In recognition of National Victims’ Rights Week, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office will honor three prosecutors and two partner agencies dedicated to providing comfort and assistance to victims of crime.

A luncheon and ceremony will take place today from noon to 2 p.m. at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, 135 N. Grand Ave., in Los Angeles. This year’s national theme is Justice for Victims. Justice for All.

More than a dozen other distinguished individuals and agencies also are slated to receive commendations for exemplary service to crime victims. Annually, the District Attorney’s Office recognizes National Victims’ Rights Week as a time to raise public awareness about victims’ rights and services.
