A man found guilty of sexually abusing two Palmdale girls ages 7 and 8 has been sentenced to 104 years to life in state prison, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced today.

David Wayne Hoyle, 49, was sentenced yesterday after a jury found him guilty on Sept. 23 of 11 felony charges: four counts of oral copulation or sexual penetration with child 10 years or younger, one count of sexual intercourse or sodomy with child 10 years or younger and two counts each of lewd acts upon a child, criminal threats and corporal injury to a child.

Deputy District Attorney Scott Yang said Hoyle sexually abused the two family members between September 2011 and July 2014. The defendant also beat a 7-year-old male family member during the same time period, according to court testimony.

Case MA065798 was filed for warrant at the Antelope Valley courthouse on April 16, 2015, and Hoyle was then arrested in North Carolina and extradited to California.

The case was investigated by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
