October 15, 2015: “Full House” Actor Charged With DUI in Beverly Hills
An actor known for his role on the TV show “Full House” has been charged with driving under the influence in Beverly Hills, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced today.
John Phillip Stamos (dob 9/19/63) of Los Angeles, faces one misdemeanor count of driving while under the influence of drugs in case 5WA32620.
Arraignment for Stamos is scheduled for Oct. 16 at 8:30 a.m. in Department W73 of the Los Angeles County Superior Court, Airport Branch.
On misdemeanor cases, an attorney can appear on behalf of the defendant without the defendant being present.
Stamos was arrested on June 12 near Canon Drive and Brighton Way after concerned citizens reported the defendant was allegedly behaving strangely and driving erratically, prosecutors said.
The actor faces a possible maximum sentence of six months in county jail if convicted as charged.
The case remains under investigation by the Beverly Hills Police Department.
