July 22, 2025: Motorist Charged With 74 Felony Counts for Driving into Crowd Outside East Hollywood Nightclub

LOS ANGELES — A 29-year-old man was charged today in a 74-count complaint, including 37 counts of attempted murder and 37 counts of assault with a deadly weapon — one count for each of the 37 victims, after allegedly driving his vehicle into a crowd of people outside an East Hollywood nightclub, injuring dozens, some critically.

July 18, 2025: Couple Charged in Shooting Death of 13-Year-Old Boy in Pasadena

PASADENA, CA – Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan J. Hochman announced that Muhammad Abdul-Malik, 38, and Teraeja Flemmings, 31, were charged today in the death of 13-year-old Iran Moreno, who was shot and killed while playing video games in his Pasadena home in November 2021.

LOS ANGELES – Former Los Angeles Police Officer Edgar Verduzco was sentenced today by a judge who handed down a 15-year-to-life sentence after the ex-officer entered an open guilty plea for killing a couple and their 19-year-old son while driving under the influence on the 605 Freeway in 2017.

LOS ANGELES — A Brentwood man has been charged with 28 criminal counts — including 23 felonies — for a string of alleged crimes that occurred between 2023 and May of this year, including impersonating a firefighter during the Palisades Fire, assaulting a first responder, and discharging a laser at aircrafts.
